This guide explains how to submit or update a Louisiana restaurant listing on EatBayou. You can keep this page open in a separate tab while filling out the restaurant form.
Basic Restaurant Information
Enter the restaurant name, business phone number or business email/contact email, street address, city, state, ZIP code, parish, and cuisine or food type. A business phone number or contact email helps EatBayou verify the listing before it is published.
Online Links
Add the official website, online menu, and social media links if you have them. Blank fields are fine. EatBayou is meant to help customers connect with the restaurant, not replace the restaurant’s own website or social pages.
Online Ordering Options
List ordering options in the order the restaurant prefers customers to use them. For example, if the restaurant prefers its own website first, place that first. If Grubhub should appear before DoorDash, place Grubhub first.
EatBayou may still show DoorDash, Uber Eats, Grubhub, Toast, a restaurant website, or other ordering links if the restaurant provides them. The order simply tells customers which option the restaurant prefers.
Do not enter instructions for DoorDash, Uber Eats, Grubhub, or drivers here. Driver and platform instructions must be handled directly inside the ordering platform.
Hours
Enter the restaurant’s normal weekly hours. Use the shortcut buttons if several days share the same hours, then adjust any day that is different.
Use the holiday section for holidays when the restaurant is usually closed. EatBayou reviews submissions before publishing changes.
Logo
Upload a restaurant logo only if you represent the restaurant or have permission to submit the logo. Do not upload food photos, storefront photos, menu screenshots, or logos for businesses you do not represent.
Features
Choose practical features that help customers decide where to eat, such as drive-thru, dine-in, pickup, delivery, catering, outdoor seating, family friendly, locally owned, or other useful details.
Catering / Large Orders
If the restaurant offers catering, party trays, office lunches, holiday orders, or large family orders, add the usual advance notice and any important notes.
House Picks
House Picks are menu items the restaurant wants customers to notice. These can be signature dishes, best sellers, seasonal specials, local favorites, profitable items, good first-time orders, or items the owner or staff recommends.
House Picks are provided by the restaurant. They are not public reviews, ratings, or paid rankings.
EatBayou Photos
EatBayou may take its own photos for listings, articles, and social media. Restaurants may request a visit or suggest items to photograph, but photos are reviewed and controlled by EatBayou.
Report a Closure or Status Change
Use the closure/status section if a restaurant is closed for a holiday, closed for remodeling, temporarily closed, moved to a new location, permanently closed, or if you are not sure and want EatBayou to review it.
Privacy and Review
EatBayou uses submitted information only to review, publish, and maintain restaurant listings. We do not sell restaurant contact information or submission details.
Submissions are reviewed before anything is published. Basic listings are free, but sending a submission does not guarantee publication or a feature.
